Our Purpose

The Creating Work Library exists to bridge the gap between professional theory and real-world practice — across project management, business analysis, change management, and leadership.

Most professional education focuses heavily on frameworks and theory. This library focuses on practical application. Every resource is designed to answer the question:

"What does this look like in the real world on Monday morning?"

We help professionals move from concepts to practice through written guides, AI prompts, software recommendations, career pathways, and an AI education hub that makes emerging technology approachable.

About the Founder

Amber Howard

Amber Howard helps leaders and organisations navigate complexity and build systems that are aligned, human-centred, and future-ready.

She is an executive advisor with more than two decades of experience guiding leaders through transformation, uncertainty, and high-stakes decision-making. Her work brings clarity to complexity — revealing the patterns, dynamics, and unseen forces that determine whether a team thrives or stalls.

Amber specialises in helping leaders understand where they are, where they need to go, and what stands in the way — then works with them to bridge that gap across their entire business. From governance and operating models to culture, capability, and strategic alignment.

She advises on executive leadership maturity, organisational transformation, governance, strategic sense-making, and navigating disruption. Alongside her advisory work, she teaches at the University of Toronto, serves as Board Chair at Rosalie Hall, and speaks on leadership, systems, and the human experience.

About Creating Life

Creating Life is the philosophy that a meaningful career and a meaningful life are not separate pursuits — they are the same work. Founded by Amber Howard, it's a practice rooted in the belief that the way we approach our work shapes the lives we build.

Amber is a philosopher, educator, facilitator, and certified project management, business analysis, and change management professional. Her work spans practical professional development, AI education, thoughtful conversation, and the art of living deliberately. Creating Life is the umbrella under which all of this lives — a studio for people who want to create their work, their relationships, and their lives with intention.
